Course description- Health matters

health-food-supplimentHEALTH MATTERS-A class offering health and hygiene education, and instruction on healthy choices. Through further education, each student begins to understand the effect of culture, family, and individual preference in our attitudes toward health, food, and exercise. Strategies that are  woven throughout this curriculum include: self-determination, self-efficacy, self-advocacy, individual rights, along with interpersonal relationships,  effective communication and safety. The curriculum is adapted to meet the unique needs and capacities of each individual. Stewardship farm

What's happening in Stewardship farm?

Why is everyone not using goodsearch?

By using Goodsearch.com for all your online searches, a penny goes back to Triform,  a penny! 100 people probably do a 100,000 online  searches in a year and if you download the goodsearch App.  1% to 20%  of your online purchases also go back to Triform.

Right now there are 65 supporters but only 2 or 3 have made goodsearch their default search engine.

last year Kathy Baxter raised almost a $100 without using any of her money or any out-of-the-way effort.

Here is the Triform page link http://www.goodsearch.com/nonprofit/triform-camphill-community.aspx

Classroom course description (new year term)

Classroom imageThis term we will continue our journey through world history with stories, arts, movements, gods and heroes. I hope to evoke questions in the students mind rather than giving them my view of history. We will hopefully be unraveling some intriguing questions, like what gifts the different cultures have left for us, and how they have shaped humanity? How did we get here? Who are our ancestors and what kind of life style they led?

We will start from way back when man was hunter and gatherer, then how did the first families and tribes came about what was important for them. We will be working on our main lesson book, where students will try to bring the past come to life, we will paint, draw, talk, write and discuss life from long gone era.
